What changed at firms I worked with.
Recent engagements, told plainly and without client names: what the matter needed, what I did, how the work holds up, and what it produced.
Case support · Email archive review
Email archives, turned into a review set a paralegal can run.
Minutes to process tens of thousands of emails, with client data kept on the firm's own machine
- The situation
- A law firm needed a faster way to turn large email archives into something its team could review, while keeping confidential client data on its own computer.
- What I did
- Built a secure tool that runs locally, on the firm's own computer.
- It converts Outlook and MBOX archives into individual email documents and extracts every attachment.
- It builds an Excel index with a summary of each message and a link to its file.
- How it holds up
- Every entry in the index links back to its source file, so the collection stays traceable from summary to original.
- The result
- A paralegal now processes tens of thousands of emails from an inbox in minutes, securely, into an organized, traceable collection for review.
Both engagements were case support: analysis on a live matter, checked before anyone relied on it. How case support works
